Brama Opatowska

Brama Opatowska is one of the most recognizable landmarks of Sandomierz. It is located on Opatowska Street, in the heart of the old town. The gate once served a defensive function, and today it is an excellent viewpoint. From its top, a panorama of the city and surrounding hills unfolds. It is an attraction suitable for everyone – both adults and families with children. The visit takes about half an hour, making it an ideal stop during a walk through the historic center. It is worth stopping here to take photos and admire the Sandomierz landscape.
