Open-Air Museum

The Open-Air Museum in Kolbuszowa is a picturesque ethnographic park that transports visitors to the world of a late 19th and early 20th-century village. It showcases the culture of two ethnographic groups – Lasowiacy and Rzeszowiacy. The extensive grounds feature authentic farmsteads, outbuildings, and a manor house from Brzeziny dating back to 1753, the oldest wooden manor in southeastern Poland. The entrance sector includes a manor from Sędziszów Małopolski, housing the ticket office, souvenir shop, and the 'Cafe Prowincja' café. Guided tours are available, and the scenic landscape attracts filmmakers. It is an ideal destination for families, school groups, and anyone interested in folk history and culture. The museum is open seasonally: from April to October on weekdays 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 AM–6:00 PM; from November to March daily 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.
