Lackowa is the highest peak of the Beskid Niski range, reaching 997 m above sea level. It is located near the village of Ropki in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Although forested, the summit offers a few clearings with views of the Slovak hills. Several trails lead to Lackowa, including the blue trail from Ropki and the red border trail. The ascent from Izb is extremely steep, known as the 'wall of tears'. The peak is a popular hiking destination and part of the Crown of Polish Mountains. The route is suitable for families with children aged 10 and up, and the hike takes about 4 hours. Entry is free, and the trail is open seasonally. Public transport stops are nearby.
