Janowice Vineyard
Janowice Vineyard is a picturesque winery located in Janowice near Zakliczyn, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Situated at an altitude of about 280 m above sea level, 80 meters above the Dunajec River, it offers stunning views of the winding river, hills, and the Tatra Mountains in the distance. The vineyard was established in 2013 and is owned by Barbara and Wiesław Chlipała. Thanks to sunlight and thermal inversion, the vines are protected from frost. The site is part of the Lesser Poland Wine Trail. Besides wine tasting, visitors can enjoy a viewing terrace, and in August, the Vitis Music Sfera festival takes place, featuring classical and jazz concerts. In 2024, Leszek Możdżer performed, and in 2025, Anna Maria Jopek. The festival lasts about 6 days, and the main concert is ticketed. The vineyard also offers accommodation in a nearby guesthouse. It is an ideal destination for couples, groups, and all wine, music, and landscape enthusiasts.
