Talaska Vineyard
Talaska Vineyard is a family-run winery located in Melsztyn, Lesser Poland, on the southwestern slope of Zamczysko hill. Founded by Natalia and Tomasz Talaska, who live near London but originate from the area, the vineyard continues winemaking traditions dating back to the 18th century, when voivode Maciej Lanckoroński cultivated vines here. Today, varieties such as Sauvignier Gris, Solaris, Johanniter, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, and Cabernet Cantor are grown. Visitors can stay in wooden cottages, tour the gravity-fed winery and tasting pavilion. Open Days are held in summer. A unique feature is the use of Georgian qvevri amphorae for winemaking. The vineyard offers stunning views of the Dunajec River valley and surrounding mountains. It is an excellent destination for wine tourism, families, and couples.
