Palace in Sławie

The palace in Sława is a historic building dating from the 17th century, located in the town of Sława in the Lubusz Voivodeship, listed on the register of immovable monuments. It stands on the site of an earlier castle founded by Melchior von Rechenberg (1549-1625), a member of the imperial council and starost of the Kłodzko county from 1589 to 1600. Rechenberg bought Sława from his brother Jan in 1587 and was raised to the rank of baron in 1611; he was married twice.
