Książ Castle
Książ Castle in Wałbrzych is one of the largest castles in Poland, situated on a picturesque rocky promontory. It is surrounded by extensive parklands with over a hundred-year-old rhododendrons planted by Princess Daisy von Pless. Visitors can enjoy numerous attractions: viewing terraces, a mausoleum, historic gates, and a stud farm. The castle interiors can be explored with an audio guide, which is also adapted for children. The route includes a photo exhibition 'Książ from the Kitchen' featuring unique 3D stereoscopic images. Around the castle, there are restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlors, and charming hotel cottages. It is an ideal destination for families with children, couples, and groups – everyone will find something for themselves. The castle is open seasonally, and on-site facilities include toilets, a gift shop, and paid parking.
