Książ Castle

Książ Castle in Wałbrzych is one of the largest and most impressive residences in Poland, surpassed in size only by Malbork and Wawel. The former seat of the Hochberg family impresses with its eclectic architecture and richly decorated interiors, which are being gradually restored. Visitors can explore stylish halls, terraces overlooking the picturesque Pełcznica Gorge, a vast park, and a palm house. The complex also includes an underground route, the ruins of Stary Książ, and a horse stud farm. In May, rhododendrons bloom, and in winter, the magical Gardens of Light are held.
