Wrocław Zoo
Wrocław Zoo is the oldest zoological garden in Poland, founded in 1865. It is located in Wrocław at 1-5 Z. Wróblewskiego Street. Its main attraction is the Afrykarium – a unique complex on a global scale showcasing African aquatic ecosystems. The zoo houses many animal species, including endangered ones, living in conditions close to their natural habitats. There are over a dozen themed pavilions, such as the Terrarium with Butterfly House, the Odrarium for European otters, and the historic bear fortress. Scheduled feeding sessions take place daily, even in winter. The zoo is open year-round, and tickets can be purchased online to avoid queues. Facilities include toilets, a café, and a restaurant. Public transport access is convenient. It is an ideal destination for a full-day family trip.
