Słowiński Park Narodowy

Słowiński National Park, headquartered in Smołdzino in the Pomerania region, is the third largest national park in Poland, covering over 32,700 hectares. Nearly two-thirds of its area is water, including Lake Łebsko and Lake Gardno. The park is famous for its shifting dunes, such as Czołpińska Dune and Łącka Dune, which create a unique desert-like landscape along the Baltic coast. Other attractions include the Czołpino Lighthouse, the former lighthouse keeper's settlement, and the mysterious Sunken Forest. The Rowokół hill offers panoramic views of the surroundings. Entry tickets are required from May 1 to September 30 on selected trails – 10 PLN for adults, 5 PLN for concessions. The park also runs educational programs, e.g., the summer series 'Nura w Naturę' for families and tourists. Note that dogs are only allowed on certain trails. It's an excellent destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
