Mount Grześ

Mount Grześ is a peak in the Western Tatras, 1653 m above sea level, located near Witów in the Chochołowska Valley. It is an excellent destination for families with children aged 6 and up, as well as for those new to mountain hiking. The ascent from the PTTK shelter at Polana Chochołowska takes about 1 hour 45 minutes, and the full route from Siwa Polana takes around 7 hours. The summit offers a beautiful panorama of the Tatras. The trail is open year-round, but in winter, avalanche risk and shorter daylight hours should be considered. The hike can be extended to include the neighboring peaks of Rakoń and Wołowiec. Admission is free, and public transport is available nearby.
