Szrenica

Szrenica is one of the most popular peaks in the Karkonosze Mountains, located in Szklarska Poręba within the Karkonosze National Park. The summit offers picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. You can hike to Szrenica via several trails of varying difficulty – the shortest route from Szklarska Poręba takes about 2–3 hours. For a more convenient option, a cable car is available, with the upper station a 20-minute walk from the mountain hut at the top. Paid parking is available nearby, and public transport access is possible by train or bus. On-site facilities include a café, restaurant, and toilets. The trail is family-friendly and suitable for strollers and dogs. Entry to the national park is subject to a fee. Szrenica is attractive year-round, but it is advisable to check trail availability during the season.
