Muzeum Miejskie Tuchów
The Municipal Museum in Tuchów is located in the basement of the Cultural Centre at 10 Fryderyk Chopina Street. Opened in 2013 to mark the 670th anniversary of the town's charter, it houses several thousand exhibits, mostly donated by residents, including the family of folk artist Tadeusz Radwan. The exhibition covers five rooms: an ethnographic room with everyday objects and craft tools, a historical room dedicated to the town's inhabitants, a military room focusing on World War II, a room of the 'Barbara' Battalion with partisan memorabilia, and the Tadeusz Radwan Room for temporary exhibitions. In the basement, three more rooms await. The treasury displays a replica of the town's foundation charter from 1340 and a copy of the Triptych of Tuchów from 1468. Another room presents documents and memorabilia related to the Rozwadowski family. The third room features exhibits on healthcare, lists of mayors, the 'Windows of Ardon' triptych by Mordecai Ardon, and relics of Pope John Paul II. The museum offers educational lessons and symposia.
