Wojanów Palace
Wojanów Palace is one of the most beautiful buildings in the Valley of Palaces and Gardens in Lower Silesia, located in the Jelenia Góra Valley on the Bóbr River, about 10 km from the center of Jelenia Góra. Built in the Romantic Gothic Revival style, it was purchased in 1839 by King Frederick William III of Prussia for his youngest daughter, Princess Louise of the Netherlands. It is surrounded by a picturesque landscape park designed by Peter Joseph Lenné, the creator of the gardens at Schönbrunn Palace. Today, the palace serves as a luxury hotel with a swimming pool and spa area. The interiors, such as the library and ballroom, are accessible to hotel guests, while tourists can visit them only to a limited extent. On site, there is the Garden Restaurant with a terrace overlooking the park and Śnieżka mountain, as well as a wine cellar in the 17th-century vaults. The stable building houses the Chestnut Restaurant. Free parking is available. Nearby, just 300 meters away, is the charming Łomnica Palace. It is an ideal place for walks and relaxation in a romantic setting.
